Herbal Infusions – Hibiscus and Rose
Hibiscus and Rose herbal infusion has a gentle cranberry-like tartness with rosy floral accents. A fragrant deep crimson coloured tea rich in vitamin C. Hibiscus has been known to lower blood pressure and is widely consumed for its high antioxidant content. Serve hot or serve chilled is a delicious thirst quencher on a summer's day.
Here at The Tea Chest our teas are all hand blended made in small batches, packaged in heat sealed foil lined bags with tear off resealable zip lock enclosure to help maintain freshness. Blended and packaged in the rainforest surrounds of Far North Queensland.

Caffeine Class: Naturally Caffeine Free
How it tastes: Slightly tart and fruity
Why it’s special: This cranberry like flavoured ruby red tea is refreshing and so delicious as an iced tea. You could even add a squeeze of lime or a sprig of mint!
To serve one: Heat 250mls of water to 100°C. Add 1 heaped tsps. of tea, allow to infuse for 5-10 minutes.
Can be brewed 2 – 3 times can also be served as an iced tea.

Hibiscus Benefits: Hibiscus Sabdariffa is very high in antioxidants that has been linked to lowering blood pressure. Rich and red with a slightly tart taste it is also high in Vitamin C.
Rose Benefits: Consuming Rose Petals in tea is thought to improve menstrual health and reduce anxiety, pain, and inflammatory diseases.
