Here at The Tea Chest our teas are all hand blended made in small batches, packaged in heat sealed foil lined bags with tear off resealable zip lock enclosure to help maintain freshness. Blended and packaged in the rainforest surrounds of Far North Queensland.

Why its special: Sencha is the most commonly known green tea. It is produced from the first and second flush tea. Once only drunk by the richer people it can now be enjoyed by everyone.
Our Sencha is harvested here in Australia from the best tea leaves before being taken to the factory where it is steamed, rolled and shaped to give a bright and vibrant tea.
Green Tea benefits: Sencha tea is renowned to have many excellent health benefits, including its ability to prevent chronic diseases, reduce blood pressure, balance cholesterol levels, aid in weight loss, protect the immune system, increase energy, and stimulate cognitive activity.
Peppermint Benefits: Peppermint Leaf is known to promote digestive health and can relieve an upset stomach. Commonly used to relieves nausea and motion sickness, helps IBS symptoms, aids in relieving hangovers, decrease flatulence, calms, restores and lends clarity, relieves toothaches and headaches, clears throat, boosts energy.
Roundleaf Mint Benefits: Traditionally used for treating headaches and colds. Its flavour has a slightly peppery oregano with more earthy tones.

To Serve: Heat 250mls of water to 70-80 degrees. Add 2 teaspoons of tea and allow to infuse for 90 seconds, to give a light yellow-green liquor. Can be infused 2 or 3 times. Can also be consumes chilled on a hot summer’s day.
