Wild Harvested Native Australian Wattleseed blended with Australian grown black tea (cultivated and grown without the use of pesticides), and a subtle hint of vanilla and cinnamon.

This intriguing blend has a natural mocha, hazelnutty taste that will arouse your taste buds and leave you wanting more.

Here at The Tea Chest our teas are all hand blended made in small batches, packaged in heat sealed foil lined bags with tear off resealable zip lock enclosure to help maintain freshness. Blended and packaged in the rainforest surrounds of Far North Queensland.

Black Tea Benefits: Black tea is an excellent source of powerful antioxidants such as flavonoids. Flavonoids may help the fight in preventing the negative effects of free radicals to your body. Wattleseed: Wattleseed is versatile to use and highly nutritious. Wattleseed has an amazing coffee, hazelnut, chocolatey flavour which is used as a sweet or savoury ingredient.
Wattleseed has been a staple food for Indigenous people for thousands of years as a rich source of protein, fibre and carbohydrate and used to make cakes and damper.
Wattleseed contains Calcium, Zinc, Magnesium, Iron, Potassium and other nutrients for good health.

Vanilla: Vanilla is loved by everyone; the luxurious scent of vanilla is unmistakable to most. Not only is vanilla being well-known for its flavouring, did you know that studies have found natural vanilla also contains Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium and has aphrodisiac properties.

Cinnamon:  Cinnamon is a favourite of all spices; it has been used around the world for centuries. The antioxidants in cinnamon have been found to have anti-inflammatory effects. Some spices, including cinnamon, have prebiotic properties that promote the growth of beneficial bacteria and help suppress the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Therefore, including spices regularly in your diet may help improve gut health.

Brewing Instructions

To serve one: Heat 250mls of water to 95°C. Add 1 heaped tsps. of tea and allow to infuse for 3 minutes if taken black; 4-5 minutes if adding milk.
